How?

I Will be participating in a FaceTime birthday wish later today. what is a good means for recording that stream into a video? I will be using a MacBook pro. I don't know diddly squat about Mac stuff. I am not a mac-centric.

I haven't used facetime on a macbook ever so I dont know if there is an option to record. If not, you could use recording software like OBS. I'm fairly sure theres a OSX/Linux version

FaceTime doesn't have a built in recording function. However, you should be able to use QuickTime player to record the screen. I think it even will let you choose to record just the FaceTime window.
